Marcus earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Samford University in 2010, majoring in International Relations and minoring in Spanish. A baseball scholarship brought him to Samford, where he was a 4-year Varsity Letterman. During his years as a student-athlete he was named to the Howard College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s List. He was also named to the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Marcus graduated from Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2014. During his time in law school he successfully co-founded Barry’s first ever Labor and Employment Law Association, and served as Secretary. Marcus earned honors in Client Counseling and Problem Solving.

Following law school, he spent 3 and 1/2 years practicing with a regional firm in insurance defense, specializing in workers’ compensation. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida, and is also a member of the American Bar Association and Orange County Bar Association.
